Stadium
Estádio José Maria de Campos Maia
Mirassol, Brazil
Formerly: no data
Mirassol opened it in 1925, the same stretch of years the club itself was taking shape, but the ground people walk into today dates from a later rebuild — reopened on 3 March 1983 with a 2-1 win over Jalesense.
Capacity sits around 14,500, though the record crowd came on 10 February 2018, when Palmeirense weight of support turned out for the Campeonato Paulista visit of Palmeiras and saw their side beaten 2-0.
Grêmio have played here too, in the 2022 Copa do Brasil, and left on the wrong end of a penalty shootout after Mirassol held them level. Santos have visited during a Série B campaign, and Atlético Mineiro brought Hulk for a game that briefly made the Maião a stop on a much bigger club's calendar.
