Futbalový štadión Šaľa: Stadium in Šaľa

The ground in Šaľa does not announce itself through grand architecture.

The stadium was rebuilt in 1946 after it was significantly destroyed by bombing in the spring of the previous year. That date is confirmed by one source, though the original opening year remains uncertain. The club, FK Slovan Duslo Šaľa, was founded in 1921 and has called this place home ever since.

The venue is best known for the women's team, which hosted qualifying matches for the UEFA Women's Cup and later the Champions League between 2006 and 2009. The team went on to win four consecutive Slovak national championships from 2005 to 2008.

The capacity is disputed; some sources list 8,000, while others count only 1,126 seats. It is not a modern arena, but it is a working one. The main surface is natural grass, and there is a secondary field nearby with artificial turf. In recent years, the ground has also hosted the Šaľa Maxi Festík, a children's festival, since 2015.
