Construction ran from the spring of 2018 to the summer of 2020, with AFL Architects on the design and Willmott Dixon building it for £71m. It opened on 1 September 2020.
The pitch is a Desso GrassMaster hybrid — 95% natural grass stitched through with 5% synthetic fibre.
