Hala Legionów

The arena sits low against a backdrop of dense woodland. It does not shout for attention, but it dominates the sports complex. The ground outside is paved, and beyond that a four-lane tartan track stretches past the stands. Inside, the floor is oak parquet, smooth and hard, where players work the ball across the floor.

The structure itself is the first thing you notice.

The arena was raised in 2006 to serve the city’s handball ambitions. The local club, Industria Kielce, moved in quickly and has stayed ever since, using the facility as their base for European and domestic competitions.
