Kallithea Palais des Sports

The Kallithea Palais des Sports opened in 2014 as a modest facility, yet it has undergone a significant transformation to meet modern demands. The expansion in 2018 added temporary seating, but it was the 2024 upgrade that truly redefined the space, increasing its capacity to 3,400 to accommodate European competitions. This shift in scale is mirrored in the events hosted within its walls. The venue has transitioned from local gatherings to hosting high-stakes finals, including the 2024 Greek Basketball Super Cup Final between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos.

The ground serves as the home court for Kolossos BC, a team that has called the arena home since the 2019–20 season. Before their arrival, AE Kallitheas Rodou played here. The construction itself was a collaborative effort involving LPG Constructions and Stirixis Techniki, resulting in a durable parquet court that has withstood years of use. While the exact address remains undocumentated in standard sources, the arena sits firmly in the Kallithea municipal unit, specifically in the Faliraki area of Rhodes.

The black and white stripes and the double-headed eagle emblem associated with the local teams create a distinct atmosphere when matches are played. The arena does not rely on a permanent sponsorship name; it retains its original designation, managed directly by the Municipality of Rhodes. This lack of commercial overlay allows the focus to remain on the sport itself.
