Kórin
Kópavogur, Iceland
Kórinn sits in the Vallakór district at Kóravegur, 203 Kópavogur, and opened in 2007. It is the home of Handknattleiksfélag Kópavogs, for their handball and indoor football teams, and it also hosts the women's side HK/Víkingur and KM Reykjavik.
The pitch is artificial turf that meets FIFA standards, and the seating holds about 2,050 for sport, with the remainder standing or reserved, though some accounts place the number closer to 1,500. When the floor is filled for concerts the capacity jumps to nearly 19,000. The arena is owned and managed by the Kópavogur municipality, and it does not keep its own website; the club site hk.is is what you find first.
HK Kópavogur's footballers played at the outdoor Kópavogsvöllur until 2013, when they moved here. The outdoor ground, also called Eikarvöllurinn, opened in 1975 and belongs to Breiðablik; the two venues sit in the same city but serve different purposes.
