Ledovy Dvorets
Tula, Russia
The arena in Tula is not a football ground, so there is no attempt to describe it as one. It is a sports arena built for ice hockey and a few other events.
The main fact about the place is that it is home to HC AKM and the MHL Academy of Mikhailov. The club switched to this venue after the older Arena Tula closed. The capacity for matches is 3,072. The attendance record stands at 3,050 during VHL games against Neftekhimik in April 2024. The ice is natural and kept cold, which is standard for a hockey rink of this size.
There was talk of upgrading the arena to meet KHL standards, but that did not happen. The club’s owner decided to support the Tolyatti team instead. The arena still hosts concerts now and then. You can see the names of the bands on the schedule if you look for it, but it is not a permanent feature of the building.
The surface is the only thing that matters on the day of a match. It opened in 2020. That is all.
