Megyeri úti jégcsarnok

This is a practical building, built for hockey and figure skating in the Újpest district of Budapest.

There was an outdoor rink on this site before the current structure appeared in 2004. That older version held 4,000 people and hosted a famous opening match where Újpesti TE beat Ferencváros 8–0. The current arena, funded by the state, was finished in six months and covers 3,500 square meters. It is smaller than its predecessor, with seating for 2,200. The visiting supporters have a section separate from the home fans, and there are twenty VIP seats tucked away.

Budapest Jégkorong Akadémia HC also uses the facility for home games. The arena saw action for the 2009 ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating and the 2021 Hungarian Junior Championships. In the 2009–10 season, the final of the MOL Liga was played here, with Budapest Stars winning 3–1 against Újpesti TE. A derby against Ferencváros in 2005 was reported as a sell-out, though no official records for the indoor era exist to confirm such numbers.
