The ground sits in the quiet industrial stretch of Cotton Lane, a few miles from the town centre. It is not a landmark by any standard. The club moved here in 1977, taking their kit bags and their history with them after a final match at King's Road the year before. They had been at their previous site since 1888, and the move was made.

The large, dark building across the pitch is the clubhouse, finished in 2017. The wooden stand opposite has been replaced with a modern structure, part-funded by a grant from the Football Foundation in 2020 to replace floodlights that had stood since 1978. There are 300 seats in total. The rest is open terracing. The grass is natural, and the pitch is small with tight touchlines.

The biggest crowd for a match here was 2,500 in November 1986, watching a replay against Enfield in the FA Cup. There is nothing else that stands out about the place.
