Stadium
Schjongshallen
Hønefoss, Norway
The doors open onto an artificial ice surface, and the noise comes from skates cutting into frozen water rather than boots on turf.
The **Ringerike Panthers** use this space for their matches in the GET-ligaen. The capacity holds 1,700 people, a number that fits the scale of the room.
A common mistake is to assume this is the home of Hønefoss BK. That team plays at the nearby AKA Arena, which has a larger capacity and a grass pitch. Schjongshallen was opened in 1989, a long time ago, but the ice is a modern surface.
