Stadium
SKK im. V.N. Blinova
Omsk, Russia
Formerly: SKK Irtysh
The SKK im. V.N. Blinova is an arena in Omsk. The complex opened in 1986 after construction was paused for the Moscow Olympics. The capacity sits at 5104, a figure that settled after a long period of fluctuation. It serves as the home for the Omskie Krylya hockey team in the VHL .
A major reconstruction took place recently, replacing the engineering systems and updating the facade. The name of the venue changed during this period, but the new title is more commercial than historical. The complex sits within a wider park area, though the focus remains on the building itself.
