Skytteholms IP

The surface is artificial turf, a synthetic green that has not changed since 2003. The stand itself, which holds about 3,000 people, was installed during a renovation in 1990, replacing whatever facilities existed before.

Skytteholms IP hosts Vasalunds IF, who have played there since 1987, and AIK DFF, the women’s team from the capital. The ground has also hosted friendlies for AIK Fotboll’s men’s side, though it is not their primary home. The all-time attendance record for a match at the venue is 9,115 spectators, set during a friendly against Liverpool FC in 1989. That crowd was far larger than the 150 who watched the 2014–15 Svenska Cupen final here, a match that IFK Göteborg won 2–1. The stadium has also hosted the Lennart Johansson Trophy, an international youth tournament, and Swedish Championship finals for younger teams. The capacity is approximately 5,200, but the main stand is where the game is seen most clearly.
