Stadion FK Bežanija
Belgrade, Serbia
The ground sits in Stara Bežanija, a patch of Novi Beograd that has never quite finished settling.
You cannot say when the current structure first stood. One account points to 1951, while another suggests the present facility was completed in 2001 after work began in 1996. A minor renovation between 2021 and 2022 saw two additional stands added, bringing the total capacity to roughly 3,000. The playing surface is natural grass, despite one or two references to artificial turf.
The club behind the ground, FK Bežanija, spent one season in the top flight during 2006–07. They finished fourth and qualified for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup, where they lost on away goals to Besa Kavajë. The club has since dropped out of the top tiers and returned to the Belgrade Zone League for the 2024–25 campaign.
The address is Vojvođanska bb, though some signs read 68. The stadium has never carried a sponsor’s name and has never hosted anything outside of football.
