Stadion FK Smederevo
Smederevo, Serbia
Formerly: Stadion FK Sartid, Tvrđava
Smederevo's ground has spent as much time out of use as in it. Built between 1993 and 2000 and opened under Sartid, the steel combine that took over the club in 1992 and put its name on the stadium, it has carried three names in its short history — Sartid, then the fortress nickname Tvrđava, now simply the FK Smederevo stadium.
The ground fell out of regular use once sponsorship dried up in 2012 and stopped hosting fixtures altogether in 2014, forcing the club to play its home matches in Pančevo while Smederevo sat idle. It took a full pitch reconstruction to bring it back: a new artificial surface, laid to a standard that earned the ground a UEFA licence for European fixtures, replaced the old playing surface and reopened the stadium for competitive football.
Capacity stands at 17,200.
