Turn 1960 is where TALCO Arena's history starts, though for most of its life it went by a different name: Metallurg . The bigger break came later. Between 2016 and 2017 the ground went through a full reconstruction, and the reopening in March 2017 under the TALCO name marked a significant change for the stadium.
The pitch itself has stayed constant through all of that: natural grass, consistent through the decades and the rebuild alike. It sits in Tursunzoda's 1st microdistrict, a town known for aluminium production.
