Tissot Arena

Two clubs, two seasons, one roof line at the western edge of Биль/Биен: the football pitch and the ice rink at the Тиссо Арена were built as a single complex, not as neighbours that grew into each other. Construction ran from December 2012 to September 2015, and the city — which owns the site — put 250 million Swiss francs into it.

The name arrived before the opening did. Until February 2015 the complex was Стад де Бьен, also known as Шпортцентрум Биль. That month the city signed a ten-year naming-rights deal with the watchmaker Тиссо, part of the Свотч Груп, whose headquarters stand in the same town.

The football side seats 5,200 and can be extended to 10,000; the rink holds 6,521. ФК Биль-Бьен play in the Промоушен Лиг, ЕХЦ Биль in the Swiss National League. The Switzerland women's national football team has used the pitch for qualifiers towards Евро-2017 and the 2019 World Cup, and for friendlies against South Korea, Morocco, England and Finland.

Summer changes the use again. The covered outdoor rink is converted for tennis and for fairs, and the grounds take music: the Вайбз Опен Эйр festival ran here from 6 to 8 June 2019, with J Balvin, Sean Paul, Robin Schulz, Afrojack and Steve Aoki on the bill. Charlotte de Witte, Marcel Dettmann and Kool Savas have played the site since.
