Vida Arena
Växjö, Sweden
The Vida Arena sits quietly within the Arenastaden sports complex in Växjö , far from the glare of a major city centre. The structure is defined by its primary purpose: a modern facility for the Växjö Lakers who arrived here after promotion to the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) in 2011.
The ice surface is the focus, surrounded by tiers of seating. The capacity is tight, holding 5,750 spectators for hockey. The venue hosts hockey, floorball, and the occasional concert.
The arena’s history is short but specific.
