The Zimný štadión Sabinov sits quietly at the end of Levočská street. It is a functional piece of civic infrastructure that has adapted to the needs of a small town in eastern Slovakia.
What makes the arena distinct today is not its size, but the technology buried beneath the surface. A heavy reconstruction finished in February 2024 replaced the cooling systems from the previous era with a modern concrete slab.
Originally an outdoor rink, it was covered in 2014 through a cross-border project with Poland.
