The away side finally found their equaliser in the 84th minute when C. Jennings scored. «And here's the thing» — the home goalkeeper had a remarkably quiet afternoon, making zero saves during the entire match. «To be fair» the visitors struggled to find the back of the net despite their dominance in possession. J. Garcia received a yellow card in the 77th minute as tensions rose.
Sacramento held 54% of the ball and completed 14 key passes, yet their shot accuracy was poor. They registered only one shot on target compared to four for the hosts.
The result keeps Sacramento in sixth place with 32 points. Monterey Bay stay in 12th with 17 points after 23 games.
