UN Käerjéng 97 completed a comfortable victory against Victoria Rosport in the opening match of the National Division's Regular Season on Tuesday evening. The hosts ran out 4:0 winners at home, with two goals from Nolberto Perez and strikes from Kévin Delorge and Olivier Natami. The result extends Käerjéng's perfect start to the campaign.
The visitors were on the back foot from the outset. Delorge opened the scoring in the eighth minute, and Perez doubled the lead just two minutes later. To be fair, Rosport had time to adjust but found themselves chasing the game from the first whistle.
By then it was clear this would not be a contest. Natami added a third in the twentieth minute, a moment that shifted any remaining hope. Perez completed his brace just before half-time in the forty-fifth minute, and the visitors never threatened to recover.
Käerjéng dominated the statistics in every meaningful category. They held 62 per cent possession and registered 127 attacks compared to Rosport's 76. The hosts also claimed eight corners to their opponents' two, while both sides received two yellow cards.
The table reflects the gulf between these two sides. Käerjéng sit top with six wins from six games and 18 points, while Rosport occupy thirteenth place with just four points from one win, one draw and four defeats.
This result leaves the hosts still unbeaten in the league, though their recent run of heavy defeats — including a 4:0 loss to Partizan — suggests they are still finding their rhythm. Rosport's poor form continues, and they lost to Käerjéng 2:0 on their last visit in June.
