About the player
Aldin Jakupović was back where he started. The forward joined Holstein Kiel from NK Bravo on 15 January 2026 on a deal running to 30 June 2030, made five appearances in the 2. Bundesliga across the 2025–26 season, and returned to Bravo on loan in July 2026 for the following campaign, with the arrangement due to expire on 30 June 2027.
The move to Kiel was reported at around €400,000–€500,000, part of which went to NK Olimpija Ljubljana under a sell-on clause from his earlier years in Slovenian football. He came through youth football in Slovenia before Bravo, where he progressed into the senior side.
A centre-forward who favours his right foot, Jakupović was born in Ljubljana and represents Slovenia. He wears number 18 at Holstein Kiel.
The loan back to Bravo was made with regular football in mind. No senior international caps or individual honours are on his record so far.
