Aleksandar Pešić

Aleksandar Pešić made his debut for FK Radnički Niš at just 16, becoming the club's youngest-ever player. From there his career moved through several countries, but it was at Red Star Belgrade that he made his name: in his first spell he finished as the Serbian SuperLiga's top scorer with 25 goals and was named Player of the Season, later returning to the club to win the league and cup double.

Between his two spells in Belgrade, Pešić took his game abroad. A move to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia was followed by a loan to FC Seoul, where he scored 10 goals in 26 appearances despite a spell out through injury. At Maccabi Tel Aviv he became a fixture of the Israeli Classico rivalry, and one moment stands out: a penalty converted in the 95th minute against Maccabi Haifa in January 2021, as dramatic a finish as the fixture allows. He also found the net in the UEFA Europa League against Villarreal and lifted the Israel State Cup with Maccabi in 2020–21.

Pešić joined Ferencváros in June 2023, helping them retain the Nemzeti Bajnokság I title in both 2023–24 and 2024–25 and add the Magyar Kupa in 2025–26. His individual recognition has followed him throughout his career: Serbian SuperLiga Player of the Month in October 2022, plus Team of the Season honours in 2013–14 and 2017–18.
