Alié Conte

Sierra Leone's Alié Conte made his name at FC Kallon, where a loan spell in the 2022/23 season was one of the standout individual campaigns in the domestic game: 20 goals in 19 league matches, a tally that broke a record set by Musa Kamara in 2019. The season also brought a hat-trick in the CAF Champions League against Les Buffles du Borgou, and, by its end, both the Sierra Leone Premier League Player of the Season award and the Golden Boot.

Goderich FC, his parent club, recalled him from Kallon in the middle of 2023, and within a year he was on the move again, this time to Norway. On loan at Mjøndalen IF, he marked his debut with a hat-trick against Vålerenga. The transfer became permanent for a small fee, and it also opened the door to Strømsgodset, who signed him in the summer of 2025.

Conte's stay at Strømsgodset was brief. In February 2026 he moved to Finland on a season-long loan with an option to buy, joining FC Inter Turku, where he now wears the number 10 shirt and has already won the Finnish League Cup.

On the international stage, Conte has been capped 11 times by Sierra Leone since his debut in March 2022, with both his goals coming in a CHAN qualifier against Cape Verde. He has also featured in matches against Mali, Ivory Coast, Zambia and Egypt.
