About the player
Axel Sandler stands 195cm tall. He started out at HJK Helsinki, making his senior bow for the club's third-tier farm side, Klubi 04, before a move to Italy took him into AC Milan's U18 and Primavera set-up at just 16. A year later he switched again, this time to Sweden and AIK's U19 side, before returning home to Finland in February 2026 to sign for Inter Turku on a contract running to the end of 2027, with an option for a further year.
At Inter Turku he has featured for the first team in the Veikkausliiga and in the Conference League, while also turning out for the reserve side, Inter Turku 2, in Ykkönen, where he scored one goal in 12 appearances during the 2026 season. He wears the number 20 shirt and plays as a centre-back.
Sandler has also been capped by Finland at U17 and U18 level.
