Barış Gök

Fifty-seven appearances for the Galatasaray under-21 side and eleven for the under-18s. Barış Gök left the academy in 2011, and his professional career began two years later, at Trabzon Akçaabat, where he spent two seasons. He has never been called up by Turkey at any level.

What followed was a tour of the lower divisions: Arsinspor, then Sarayköy 1926 FK, then Ankara Demirspor, a few months at Bayburt Özel İdarespor and a season at Çankayaspor.

Vanspor FK was the exception. Gök stayed three seasons, from 2019 to 2022, and captained the side.

He moved to Şanlıurfaspor in July 2022 and played 35 matches in the 2022–23 season, registering one assist, as the club won the 3. Lig title and went up to the 2. Lig. It remains the only promotion on his record. His market value peaked at €225,000 in June 2023, shortly after that campaign ended.

He left Şanlıurfaspor that same month for Menemenspor, spent a season there, and signed for GMG Kastamonuspor in August 2024. In July 2025 the two sides terminated the contract by mutual agreement, and Gök joined Bursaspor on a free transfer. Bursaspor renewed his contract in 2026.

Left-footed and used mainly at left-back, he has also been deployed in the centre of defence and on the right.
