Bryan Josué Acosta Ramos

Bryan Acosta made his name at Real España, the club he broke through at as a youngster and helped to a Honduran championship in the Apertura of 2013, having made his debut against Vida that September. The move that changed his career came four years later, when he left for Spain and joined Tenerife in the summer of 2017.

His biggest transfer came in January 2019, when Dallas signed him for 3.2 million dollars under MLS's Designated Player rule. He spent two seasons there before returning briefly to Honduras and then moving on through the MLS returning-player draft to Colorado Rapids. In 2023 he switched to Portland Timbers for 150,000 dollars plus add-ons, having also featured on loan for Colorado's reserve side. A year later he took his career abroad again, signing for Turkish side Gaziantep before returning once more to Real España.

At international level, Acosta has been a fixture for Honduras, earning 70 caps and scoring twice — against Belize in 2016 and against El Salvador at the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup. He was part of the Honduras squad at the 2016 Olympics and won bronze with the national team at the 2021 CONCACAF Nations League.
