Calvin Miller

Calvin Miller came through the Celtic academy after joining the club at the age of 12, and he was still on Celtic's books when the first team won the Scottish Premiership in 2016–17 and 2017–18, the League Cup in 2017–18 and 2019–20, and the Scottish Cup in 2017–18, though his own appearances were limited to four league games and one League Cup outing. Loan spells at Dundee and Ayr United followed before Celtic released him, after which his career took him through Harrogate Town, Notts County on loan, Chesterfield and Greenock Morton.

It was at Falkirk, signed on a free transfer, that Miller found his best form. He was instrumental as the club went through the 2023–24 Scottish League One season unbeaten to win the title, contributing 9 goals and 15 assists and earning a place in the PFA Scotland League One Team of the Year. Promotion did not slow him down: in the Championship the following season he added 10 goals and 10 assists as Falkirk secured back-to-back promotions, and he was named both Falkirk's Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year, as well as the SPFL Scottish Championship Player of the Year. A second successive PFA Scotland Team of the Year selection, this time for the Championship, confirmed the scale of his impact over those two campaigns.

That form led to a move to Heart of Midlothian in June 2026 on a three-year contract, a transfer reported in six figures. Miller's other representative honour dates back further, to his time with Scotland's youth sides: capped from under-15 to under-21 level, he won 13 caps and scored once for the under-17s, and was part of the Scotland squad that took bronze at the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship in Malta.
