K. Vergara

Vergara arrived at Alianza in January 2025 by way of Bogotá FC, where he had spent two seasons establishing himself as an attacking threat rather than a squad option. His 2024 campaign there stood out: 13 goals in 24 Primera B appearances, a return that marked him as one of the club's most productive forwards that year. The season before had been quieter in front of goal — five in 28 appearances — but it kept him in the side and built the experience that carried into his move.

At Alianza, the transfer landed him at a club still finding its footing after a reconstruction. Alianza Petrolera was dissolved in January 2024 and re-formed as Alianza FC, based in Valledupar, and Vergara joined the rebuilt project a year into that transition. His first season in Primera A colours brought 11 appearances, two goals and an assist, along with a red card. The following campaign has continued in a similar vein, with two goals in five matches so far.

Born in Yumbo, Vergara plays right-footed and has spent his career to date entirely within Colombian football, moving between Primera B and Primera A rather than abroad. There is no record of a call-up to the Colombia national team.
