Danila Forov

Danila Forov left the academy that raised him. The Sheriff Tiraspol product moved to Croatia as a teenager, joining Slaven Belupo in February 2022 and then Rijeka later that year, both spells spent in the youth ranks. He returned to Tiraspol in July 2023, signing for Sheriff as a free agent, and made his first-team debut that November.

Since then the defender has become a fixture in Sheriff's back line, contributing goals in the league, the Moldovan Cup and European competition alike.

His form for the club has carried over to representative football. Forov progressed through Moldova's youth sides, scoring for the under-19s against Cyprus before adding appearances at under-21 level, and earned his first senior international call-up in October 2025 — a rise that began with a move abroad as a teenager.
