Demiyat Slambekov

Demiyat Slambekov's route into senior football ran through the youth sides of Kairat Almaty and Olé Brasil before he settled into first-team football at Bayterek, Okzhetpes and Zhetysu, helping the latter climb into Kazakhstan's top flight in 2017. A loan spell at Zhetysu-2 preceded a move abroad: in 2019 he crossed into Lithuania, turning out for Stumbras-2 and Hegelmann Litauen before returning home.

Back in Kazakhstan, Slambekov won the Kazakhstan First Division with Aktobe in 2020, then repeated the feat with Aksu in 2021. Spells at Kaisar and Ulytau followed, with every move between clubs completed as a free transfer, before he joined Kyzyl-Zhar in 2026.

At international level, Slambekov has represented Kazakhstan through various age groups. He was capped for the under-17s during qualification for the 2013/14 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, then went on to appear for the under-19s and, later, the under-21s during Kazakhstan's 2017 UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign. A first call-up to the senior national team has yet to follow.
