About the player
Daniel Strindholm's path to Swedish football ran through Spain. He left for Spanish football with UD San Pedro and later Costa Unida, eventually joining Málaga CF B.
He returned to Sweden in 2022, joining Örebro SK, but first-team opportunities there stayed scarce: four appearances in the Superettan in his first season, followed by a single league game the year after and one outing in the Svenska Cupen. In January 2025 he moved on a free transfer to Norway's Arendal Fotball, before he switched again, on another free transfer, to Varbergs BoIS in August 2025.
Strindholm has represented Sweden at youth level, debuting for the U19s in September 2018 and going on to win two caps. In September 2021 he was called up to the U21 squad for UEFA U21 Euro 2022 qualifying, though he did not feature in that camp.
