Danny Rogers

Danny Rogers spent almost a decade on Aberdeen's books without ever establishing himself there, making just three senior appearances between 2011 and 2020 while the club sent him out on loan five separate times to gather experience elsewhere. At Dumbarton, he picked up the Dumbarton Terrace and Baxter Ramsay Player of the Year awards along with the SonsTrust Young Player of the Season prize for 2014–15, and his form while on loan at Falkirk the following season earned him a place in the PFA Scotland Championship Team of the Season for 2015–16.

After leaving Aberdeen in 2020, Rogers had brief stints at Kilmarnock and Oldham Athletic before joining St Patrick's Athletic in August 2022. St Patrick's won the FAI Cup in 2023, though Rogers watched the final from outside the matchday squad as Dean Lyness started in a 3-1 win over Bohemians. He added a Leinster Senior Cup winner's medal with the club in the 2023–24 season.

Rogers came through the youth ranks at Belvedere and Cherry Orchard before Aberdeen signed him in July 2011. At underage international level he has represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-21 level, winning 8 caps, and received call-ups to senior squads from 2016 onwards without adding a senior cap.
