Delanie Breann Sheehan

Delanie Sheehan's first taste of the biggest stage came almost as soon as she arrived at UCLA: as a freshman in 2017 she scored the tying goal in the NCAA Division I Championship final against Stanford. She spent four years there in total, and by 2020 had won Pac-12 Midfielder of the Year and finished as a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist.

NJ/NY Gotham FC picked her in the 2021 NWSL Draft, but her first months as a professional were spent in France, on loan at Paris FC after she signed a National Team Replacement contract that summer. She returned to Gotham in 2022 and signed a fresh two-year deal at the start of 2023, a season that brought the biggest medal of her career: the NWSL Championship. In October of that year she also scored the first NWSL playoff goal in Gotham FC history, and the following season the club added the NWSL Women's Cup as well.

She left Gotham as a free agent in December 2024 and signed with the Houston Dash. That stay proved short: in March 2026 she was traded to expansion side Denver Summit FC alongside Yazmeen Ryan, in a deal that brought Houston $1 million in transfer funds.

Internationally, Sheehan has represented the United States at U-18, U-19 and U-20 level, and was named an alternate for the 2018 U-20 Women's World Cup squad.
