About the player
Erik Emanuel Longe Grønner grew up in the Tåsen area of Oslo.
His senior career began at Kjelsås in the 2. divisjon, where he scored twice in 15 appearances, followed by a loan spell at Bærum that yielded the same return in 12 matches. The breakthrough came after he joined Sogndal in March 2022: in his first season in the OBOS-ligaen he scored eight goals in 21 matches. His second year at Sogndal was quieter, with two goals in 12 games, and in May 2023 he went out on loan to Jerv, where he scored three goals in six league matches.
In 2024 Grønner left Norway for North Macedonia, signing for FC Shkupi, where he scored five goals in 15 Prva Liga matches as the club finished third. Later that year he moved to Romania to join Liga II side FC Argeș Pitești, making seven appearances and scoring once.
He returned to Norway in June 2025, signing for Åsane on a free transfer on a contract running until the end of 2027. He has not been capped by Norway at any level, and his career has been free of major disciplinary incidents.
