About the player
Rodolphe Ekou arrived at FK Liepāja in January 2026 as a free agent. The move gave the Ivorian midfielder his first taste of European football, and he lost little time settling in.
Ekou came through the ranks at SOL FC d'Abobo before making the switch to Latvia, and once at Liepāja he quickly became a regular fixture, racking up 25 appearances in the Virsliga through the season.
