Egor Khatkevich

Egor Khatkevich started out as a defender at the Olimpia football school in Minsk before switching to goalkeeper at 14, after two of the club's keepers were injured. He came up through the BATE Borisov academy from 2005, then spent the following years shuttling between clubs on loan and permanent moves, including a half-season with the Swedish side Junsele IF. At Vedrich-97 Rechitsa, fans voted him the club's best player in both 2010 and 2012. He later became part of a Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino squad that won the Belarusian Cup, though he played second choice there behind Valery Fomichev.

Khatkevich moved to Kazakhstan in 2023 to join Atyrau. Across 22 matches that season he conceded 18 goals and kept eight clean sheets, form that earned him the Kuralbek Ordabayev Prize as the Kazakhstan Premier League's Best Goalkeeper and a place in the league's Symbolic Team.

His stay at Turan Turkestan, where he moved in February 2025, did not last long. By June, players and staff at the club had gone unpaid for around four months, and Khatkevich returned to Atyrau along with coach Vitali Zhukovsky and several other Belarusian teammates who had made the same move to Turkestan.
