About the player
Emre Koyuncu has spent his career between the sticks in Turkey's middle divisions. His path into professional football began at Tarsus İdman Yurdu, where he was part of the squad that won the Turkish Third League in the 2014/15 season.
A move to MKE Ankaragücü followed in 2016, but first-team chances were scarce, and after a single league appearance to open the 2017/18 campaign he went out on loan to Altay. Reports at the time noted the club had wanted to keep him rather than let him leave. He made 21 league appearances in his first full season.
Spells at Ankaraspor and then Tuzlaspor followed.
He conceded just once in 11 league appearances during the 2024/25 season, and has kept a clean sheet in each of his two outings so far in 2025/26.
His one notable cup outing came in 2018, when he was pressed into a Turkish Cup match against Büyükşehir Belediyesi Erzurumspor after the first-choice goalkeeper was unavailable.
