Furkan Mehmet Doğan

Furkan Mehmet Doğan came up through the academy system at three different clubs — Altınordu, Göztepe and Alanyaspor — before turning professional in 2021 with Zonguldak Kömürspor. Short spells at Alaçatıspor and Alanya Kestelspor followed, giving the left-back a few seasons of lower-league football to build on. It was at Alanya Kestelspor, playing under the name Alanya 1221 in the third tier, that he scored a goal.

Pendikspor signed him permanently in the summer of 2023, and he has worn the number 66 shirt for the club since. Rather than going straight into the first team, he was loaned out to Manisa FK for the 2023/24 season, where he made six appearances in the Turkish first division and two in the Turkish Cup without finding the net. That loan spell served as a proving ground before his return to Pendikspor in June 2024.

Back at his parent club, Doğan settled into a regular defensive role. He played 18 league matches in 2024/25, then increased his contribution the following season with 29 appearances, a goal and three assists.

He has never featured for a Turkish youth national team. Asked about international recognition, Doğan told Fanatik he "would very much like" to one day wear the senior national shirt, a target that remains unfulfilled. His contract at Pendikspor runs to 2028.
