About the player
Fabian Andersson took an unusually long road through Stockholm football before landing his first senior contract. The switch came at the end of 2022, when he moved to IFK Stocksund and worked his way up through the club's U17 and U19 sides.
His senior breakthrough arrived in 2025, when he made 27 appearances in Division 1 Norra for Stocksund, scoring three goals and setting up eight more. In February 2026 he signed for Sandviken IF on a three-year deal.
Andersson should not be confused with another Swedish player of the same surname, a goalkeeper born in 2005 who came through BK Häcken's U19 team — the two share no connection beyond their name.
