Felix Zambrano

Zambrano was in goal when Manta won the Liga Pro Serie B title in 2024, a result that sent the club into Ecuador's top flight. It capped a rise that had begun four years earlier, when Manta finished as runners-up in the same second-tier competition.

He came through at Galácticos FC before moving on to LDU Portoviejo, spells that shaped him ahead of his time between the posts at Manta.

Since promotion, he has established himself as a regular starter in Serie A. In the 2025 season he played 26 league matches, and across his career in Ecuador's top division he has now made 42 appearances, six of them without conceding. The 2026 campaign has followed a similar pattern: 16 matches played, 38 saves made against 22 goals conceded, a save rate of 63 percent and three clean sheets, with an average rating of 6.70.

That run of form was noted in the Ecuadorian press in December 2025, when Zambrano was singled out as the man of the match in several of Manta's most important games of the season and described as one of the more dependable goalkeepers in Serie A, though no formal end-of-year goalkeeping award has been recorded.
