About the player
Hrvoje Ilić came through Dinamo Zagreb's youth ranks before a spell in Pescara's academy in Italy, then returned home to break into Osijek's senior side in 2017 and was sent out on a string of loans, to Dugopolje, Bijelo Brdo and Osijek's reserve side, over the following two seasons.
It was at Bijelo Brdo, where he joined permanently in 2021 after a brief stop at Hrvatski Dragovoljac, that Ilić found his rhythm, scoring seven goals in 61 league appearances. A free transfer to Hapoel Tel Aviv in January 2023 brought two goals in ten matches in Israel's Ligat ha'Al, before he moved on again that July to Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih in the Ukrainian Premier League. He stayed there over two years, making 44 appearances and scoring six goals, until his release in September 2025.
Ilić signed for Yelimay Semey in January 2026 as a free agent, making 21 appearances in the Kazakhstan Premier League this season. He has picked up three yellow cards and set up a goal with an assist in the match against Irtysh.
At youth international level, Ilić was capped twice for Croatia's under-17 side in 2016 and once for the under-19s.
