About the player
H. Martins returned to Felgueiras 1932 in July 2025, on a free transfer, two years after leaving the club. In between, he had spent the 2023–2024 season at Lusitânia FC (Lourosa), where he was a key player as the team won the Liga 3 title and went up to Liga Portugal 2. He stayed on for the following season in the second tier, making 29 appearances before moving back to Felgueiras.
Martins came through the Coimbrões academy before joining Boavista, where he completed his formation and made his senior bow with the reserve side in 2018–2019. Two loan spells followed, at FC Arouca and then at Leça FC, before he signed permanently with Felgueiras in July 2021 and spent two seasons there ahead of his move to Lourosa.
Back at Felgueiras for 2025–2026, the central and defensive midfielder has settled into a regular role in Liga Portugal 2, with a goal and two assists from 30 matches so far, including a goal in a 5–1 win over Oliveirense in May 2026. In January 2026, he was named Man of the Match by ZeroZero in a league draw against Marítimo.
