About the player
Trofimets came up through Aktobe's own academy, moving from the club's junior sides into the first team in 2016 and staying until 2020, when he left for Ordabasy in Shymkent. A year with Ordabasy was followed, in July 2021, by a move to Shakhter Karagandy, where he reached the final of the Kazakhstan Cup that year. His time at Shakhter ended in 2023 with a permanent switch to Aksu, interrupted by a loan spell at Ekibastuz before he returned to Aksu to finish the season.
In January 2024 Trofimets came back to Aktobe, the club where he started out. That return brought him a Kazakhstan Cup winner's medal, with Aktobe beating Atyrau 2–1 in the final on 29 September 2024. Aktobe closed out the same season with bronze in the Kazakhstan Premier League.
At youth level, Trofimets was capped three times for Kazakhstan's under-19 side and twice more for the under-21s, without going on to add senior international appearances.
