Kwadwo Antwi Duah

Duah was born in London and moved to Bern at the age of two. He worked his way up through AS Italiana and FC Bethlehem BE before joining the Young Boys academy in 2008, and he stayed in that system long enough to score 11 goals in 37 appearances for the under-21 side ahead of a senior debut in July 2016.

What followed was a run of loan spells that took him around the Swiss league. He had a season at Neuchâtel Xamax, then a longer one at FC Winterthur, where he scored five goals in 25 games, before a spell at Servette that ended with the club winning the Challenge League. A permanent move to FC Wil in 2019, with 12 goals in 33 appearances, and he built on that at FC St. Gallen, where he made 65 appearances. A switch to 1. FC Nürnberg in Germany followed, before Ludogorets Razgrad signed him from the German club in July 2023 for a fee of around €3.5 million, on a contract running to 2028.

Despite holding both Ghanaian and Swiss citizenship, Duah has committed his international future to Switzerland. His breakthrough there came at the European Championship in 2024, when he scored inside the first minute against Hungary in the group stage as Switzerland won 3–1. He has since added caps against Germany, Italy, Denmark and Spain, though at six caps his international career remains at an early stage.
