Lucas Ariel Menossi

Lucas Menossi's career has circled back to Tigre so many times that the club is impossible to separate from his story. He came through the academy, made his first-team debut in 2012, and by the time he first left in 2019 he had made 112 appearances. That same year he won a Copa de la Superliga title with Tigre — despite not featuring in the final against Boca Juniors.

The move that followed took him to San Lorenzo, though it left a dispute behind: Tigre took legal action against their rivals, seeking roughly $300,000 in unpaid transfer money plus interest. His time in the capital brought only 24 appearances and no goals, and by 2021 he was back at Tigre on loan before the move was made permanent a year later. Across his spells there he passed 200 appearances in total and became one of the squad's senior figures as the club worked its way back into Argentina's top flight.

He left South America for the first time in 2024, joining Universidad Católica in Chile, then returned within the year on a free transfer to Belgrano. A second free move followed in January 2026, taking him to Unión Santa Fe, where he now wears the number 5 shirt.

Menossi has never been capped by Argentina's senior side. In 2019 he was named in a preliminary squad for the under-23s' Pan American Games campaign but missed the final cut, with Javier Mascherano among those ahead of him in that position.
