Luca Juliano Bazzoli

The clearest marker of Luca Bazzoli's career so far is a number that never changed: eight. That is how many times he was named in VfB Stuttgart's first-team matchday squad between 2021 and 2023 without ever getting on the pitch for a competitive match. While the senior side kept him on the bench, he was doing the real work two floors down, playing 52 league matches and scoring twice for VfB Stuttgart II.

The move that changed things came in the summer of 2023, when Bazzoli joined Preußen Münster on a free transfer. There, playing regularly rather than watching from the stands, he helped the club finish as runners-up in the 3. Liga and win promotion to the 2. Bundesliga, appearing around 31 times across that campaign and a further 21 in the division above the following season.

Since then his career has moved quickly. He left Münster for Rot-Weiß Essen on another free transfer in summer 2025, made seven appearances there, and by January 2026 was already out on loan again, this time to SSV Ulm 1846 for the rest of the season. He has made 16 league appearances for Ulm so far.
