About the player
Abdusalamov came through Rodina Moscow's own academy and made his senior debut for the club in July 2019. He spent two seasons with Rodina's first team and its reserve side, Rodina-2, in Russia's Second League and First League, then left for Cyprus in August 2021 to join Pafos FC.
His time in Cyprus was broken up by a loan spell at Akritas Chloraka in the Cypriot Second Division across the 2022–2023 season, where he scored once in around eighteen appearances. He returned to Pafos for 2023–2024 and made nineteen appearances.
In June 2024, Abdusalamov signed back with Rodina Moscow on a free transfer, agreeing a contract running to the summer of 2028. He was assigned to Rodina-2 for the 2024–2025 season and scored eight goals in ten appearances in the Second League A. He made his Premier League debut for Rodina against Spartak Moscow that July.
At youth international level, Abdusalamov was capped four times for Russia's under-17 side between October 2019 and October 2021, scoring three goals, and added three caps and three goals for the under-19s in November 2021.
