Mateo Seoane

Mateo Seoane came through Vélez Sarsfield's academy and made his first-team debut in 2022, going on to make eight league appearances that season along with three in the Copa Libertadores. He also featured once in the Copa de la Liga and once in the Copa Argentina, setting up a goal along the way. The following season he added 14 more league appearances for Vélez.

In August 2023 Talleres took him on loan as part of a deal that sent Francisco Pizzini the other way to Vélez, though his time there was brief, limited to a single Copa de la Liga appearance. A loan move to Rentistas in 2024 gave him a heavier workload, and he made 26 appearances there.

Seoane left Vélez as a free agent and signed for Gimnasia La Plata in the middle of 2025. He played 10 league matches this season with an assist, and added three appearances in the Copa Argentina, where he has also scored.

At youth international level, Seoane was called up to Argentina's under-20 side for the 2022 Torneo COTIF, where he played one match under Javier Mascherano. There is no record of a call-up to the senior national team.
