Nikita Kalugin

Nikita Kalugin came through the Dynamo Moscow academy and made his senior debut there in the 2016/17 season, the same campaign in which the club won the Russian First League and went up to the Premier League. A season later he took bronze in the Russian Youth Championship with Dynamo's junior side. In the summer of 2018 he moved to Sochi, where he again finished on a promotion-winning side, taking silver in the First League in 2018/19.

A move to Torpedo Moscow followed in June 2023, with 15 league outings and one goal before a loan to Leningradets in February 2024 took him elsewhere. A further loan spell at Tyumen came that July, before he returned to Leningradets in January 2025. Within days he had made the move permanent, signing a contract at Leningradets through the end of the 2025/26 season.

Kalugin's representative career was built almost entirely at youth level. He captained Russia's under-15 and under-17 sides, and went on to win 20 caps for the under-17s, a run that included the semi-finals of the 2015 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. Between 2017 and 2019 he added ten caps and a goal for the under-21s.
