Petr Jaroň

Petr Jaroň's path to Baník Ostrava's first team ran through the club's own reserve side rather than a single breakthrough moment. He joined Baník permanently in February 2018 after coming through FC Hlučín's youth ranks, and the following years were spent finding minutes wherever they were available: a short loan back to Hlučín, then a stretch at SK Dětmarovice before he settled into Baník Ostrava B, where he played from 2020 to 2023 in the Chance Národní Liga.

That reserve-team experience became the platform for a further loan move in July 2023, when Jaroň joined SK Prostějov for a season, a step that gave him regular senior football away from Ostrava. He has also had a taste of international recognition, earning one cap for the Czech Republic's under-21 side, though a senior call-up has not yet followed.

Jaroň's route was rarely straightforward even before he turned professional. As a boy he moved between several youth clubs, including TJ Sokol Choryně and TJ Juřinka, before a run of spells split between TJ Valašské Meziříčí and Baník's own academy shaped his development. That winding start mirrors a career built more on accumulated loan experience than on a single defining transfer, and he remains a player whose senior body of work is still being written.
